Welcome to the LMGHS web site....  This web site aims to keep you up to date with the latest news, events, homework, etc, from our school....  also the site is a constant work-in-progress - we are in the process of revising the look and content in order to make it even more useful....  Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25th from 6 to 8:30 PM and Friday, Oct. 26th from 12:50 to 2:30 PM....  The LMGHS band schedule for the school week is posted on this web site - please note, the first class period begins at 8:15 AM - it is very important for all students to arrive promptly to every class!   Parent Association events and contact information are available in the column of links on the left-hand side of this web page.

Directions to Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences

By Subway: Take the B or Q train to the Sheepshead Bay Station and transfer to the B49 bus to Kingsborough Community College in Manhattan Beach; or take the B or Q train to the Brighton Beach Station and transfer to the B1 bus to Kingsborough Community College in Manhattan Beach.

By Bus: Take the B1 or the B49 bus to Kingsborough Community College at Oriental Boulevard and Mackenzie Street in Manhattan Beach.

By Car: From Manhattan take one of the bridges or tunnels to Brooklyn. Get on the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (BQE) going west towards Coney Island, stay in the right lane; exit onto the Belt Parkway going east; then exit at Coney Island Avenue, go right onto Coney Island Avenue; at the Brighton Beach Avenue intersection turn left; Brighton Beach Avenue will turn into Oriental Boulevard; stay on Oriental Boulevard until the end; enter the gate of the campus of Kingsborough Community College, ask the security guards for directions to the building; the school is located on the Sheepshead Bay side of the campus at 1830 Shore Boulevard. Parking is available.
