Support Our Students - PA fundraising committee
Dear LMGHS Parents,
As we navigate the unchartered territory resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic and the upheaval it has brought upon the entire LMGHS community, we are all doing what we can to keep moving forward and do whatever we can do to help our children achieve some normalcy. While we are limited at this time with what we can do, we all look forward to a return to the school building for in person learning. Until such time as this is realized, The Parents’ Association (PA) of LMGHS will continue to work together to do all we can to support the school and its students. As always, regardless of whether students are learning remotely, blended or full time in person, we work on behalf of LMGHS students and their families to provide valuable enhancements to our school. All funds raised by the PA go directly to benefit all LMGHS students. PA funds are used to provide essential items such as technology upgrades, lab supplies, arts and other school supplies; to sponsor school team events and trips, to beautify the campus; for professional development for the teachers and to support the performing arts. The PA also organizes (once authorized to do so) community-building events throughout the year for the enjoyment of the students, their families and our teachers and staff.
While we understand that this year hasn’t been a “normal” school year as we are used to, and that many families are experiencing hard times, we are reaching out to the community for assistance in supporting the efforts of the PA to maximize what we can provide for all of our children at LMGHS by donating to our LMGHS PA Fund. As the school is presently closed, we are unable to raise funds we have raised in the past through sales at our school store and sales of LMGHS merchandise. We hope that this appeal to the LMGHS community will enable us to help enrich the education of all of our children. Donations can be made at any time during the year. All donations, in whatever amount, are greatly appreciated and work towards our school-wide goal of 100% participation by LMGHS families.
How Can You Participate and Donate?
We encourage you to give any amount your family is able to give, no amount is too small. We realize that many of our families cannot donate at this time, but for those who can, we ask that you please consider doing so as these funds will be utilized to support all students within the Goldstein family.
Donation payments may be made through the PA’s Paypal link using a credit card, a bank account or a paypal account. This link will be posted on the school website and will be forwarded to parents via their Remind account and email. All donations are confidential.
