Frank Mason Interview About The Painting, "Freedom of Artistic Expression"

This unique interview, recorded in 2001, features the artist Frank Mason (1921-2009) discussing his oil painting, "Freedom of Artistic Expression". The work was donated to the LMGHS in 2003 by Public Art for Public Schools of the NYC Department of Education. It is on display in the School Library & Media Center on the first floor. "Freedom of Artistic Expression", painted circa 1976, is a modello, (a preparatory study or model) for a large mural proposal submitted to the US Bicentennial Commission.
