Welcome!  The LMGHS website aims to keep you up to date with the latest school news, events, homework, etc....  The LMGHS time/band schedule for the school week is posted above - please note, the first class period begins at 8:15 AM - it is very important for all students to arrive promptly to every class!   Parent Association events and contact information are available in the column of links on the left-hand side of this web page....  the site is a work-in-progress - we are revising the look and content in order to make it even more useful - suggestions are welcomed....

SUMMER SCHOOL
Summer school will begin on Wednesday, July 1st. Students registered for summer school should report to James Madison HS located at 3787 Bedford Avenue by 8:00 AM. NOTE: There are to be no electronic devices of any kind brought to summer school including but not limited to cell phones, ipods, etc. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Eng @ 347-563-4656.

Graduates of the Day for June 1

Schools Chancellor Joel I. Klein today commended seniors in the Class of 2009 who have overcome remarkable obstacles to graduate this year. The chancellor will honor these graduates and others who have beaten the odds to earn a diploma at a celebration at the Department of Education?s headquarters on June 8.
